Trekking World Tours - Mongolia - The large contrast of the territory

Day 1 :	Arrival at Ulaan Baatar, transfer in hotel, after breakfast atrip around the city and preparation of the journey. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2 :	Departure at 9 o’clock in jeep going towards the small village of Delgherkhangai. Along the route you can see the Zorgol Khairkhan mountains. Boxed lunch. In the afternoon visit to a nomadd family and excursion on camels. Overnight stay in a tent and boxed dinner.
Day 3 :	Continuing toward the steppa we arrive at Bayanzag, an area where there has been found alot of dinosauros fossils. Boxed lunch. In the evening arrival in a turist camp-site, free time. Dinner in a restaurant of the camp and overnight stay in a ger.
Day 4 :	Departure for the natural park and mountain range of Gurvan Saikhan, a visit to the useum at the entrance of the park, and a visit to the valley of the eagles ( Yolin Am ). A boxed lunch. In the afternoon return to the camp-site and after dinner a performance of a folk musical concert.
Day 5 :	We continue towards the small village of Bayangol, along the way a visit to the ruined of the manastery Ongiin khiid , in the evening camping along the banks of the river, dinner overnight stay in a tent.
Day 6 :	We continue towards Khrkhorin, going through the small town of Arvaikheer , regional capital of Ovorkhangai. About 5 o’clock in the afternoon we reach Kharkhorin, stopping in a touristic camp. Free time.
Day 7 :	After breakfast a visit to the ancient monastery of Erdene Zuu at Kharkhorin, ancient capital, one of the largest and best kept monasteries in all of Mongolia. We continue towards the faous rock of Taikhar, passing through Tsetserleg, regional capital of Arkhangai, stopping at the tourist camp-site. It will be possible to fish and go on excursions on horseback.
Day 8 :	The journey continues towards the Khorgo volcano. In the afternoon an excursion on foot up the volcano and return to the ger camp-site.
Day 9 :	After breakfast we arrive at the beautiful Terkhin Tsagaan nuur lake, proceding along a very rough road to the small village of Jargal. Accomodation in tents along the banks of the river. Free time.
Day 10 :	Proceding towards the Khovsgol lake , passing through the small town of Moron, regional capital of Khovsgol region. Break for lunch. In the afternoon we arrive at the tourist camp-site, stopping for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11 :	Visit to Tsaatan family with an excursion on horseback, in the aftrenoon returning to the camp-site, excursion on the lake . it is possible also to fish from the boat. After dinner a performance of a folk music group.
Day 12 :	A long day of transfering toward the region of Bulgan , in the evening stopping for overnight stay in tents.
Day 13 :	Returning towards Ulaan Baatar, where we arrive about 5 o’clock in the afternoon. Rest and fre time.
Day 14 :	City tour and shopping, it is possible to see a folk music concert. In the evening dinner with all the members of the group at the Seoul restaurant.
Day 15:	After breakfast daparture for the airport.

Duting the itinerary you can see the famous Gobi desert and ancient capital Kharkhorin and the volcno Khorgo. Besides this the Khovsgol lake and naads ethno Tsaatan. As well as the different habits of the mongol nomads in the different regions.

The itinerary has been studied specially to give the tourist an idea to see great differences of territory that there are in this country. Infactfrom the arid and immense Gobi desert you will find areas greener up untill you arrive at the Khovsgol lake, where there are large siberian like forests, rich in rivers.
